Day 1.: Thursday 27 April 2017: Welcome to Brussels


We are happy to welcome you to Brussels, the Capital in the Heart of Europe. Our weekend together starts with a Pre-programme. It is when you will receive your badge and have a chance to familiarise yourself with a number of activities awaiting for you in the coming days. This is the day to meet new and old friends from other European Capitals, while tasting delicious Belgian beers, fries and the famous waffles.

Today we will explore what Brussels has to offer – all the delicious treats first-hand!

Day 3.: Saturday, 29 April 2017:  Living together: Fostering sustainable cities and communities

The theme of today is “Living together” in order to foster sustainable cities and communities.

Today we will have different high-level speakers and actors active in Brussels involved in successful projects that aim to redefine the urban space; show how communities live together and make positive change on the society in Brussels. In addition, we will have debates and working sessions where we will propose real projects that will be built up in every European capital city, increasing our chances to change the diffidence in confidence, the competition into collaboration and the hostility in hospitality.

To crown a full day of activities you are invited to the Superheroes Summit! Make sure to bring your super heroes outfit!

Day 4.: Sunday, 30 April 2017: Closing of ECM 2017

As all good things come to an end, so does the ECM this year. Today is the last day of the ECM 2017 meeting and we hope you enjoyed your stay in the Heart of Europe. We hope to see you again at the next European Capital Meeting. A bientot!
